Back in February, we trained volunteers how to research and carry out field walking projects. We taught volunteers how to use map regression, aerial photography and LiDAR to identify sites and then we showed them how to set out sections and record finds out in the field.
Three of our volunteers that came out with us on the field walking events in February used the skills they learnt and when on to complete their own project.
